Buying from China starts with a web search — but buying well from China starts with a plan.
1. Define your need precisely
Write down specs, volume, target budget and delivery date. The sharper this brief, the more comparable the quotes.
2. Compare several suppliers
Never settle for the first offer. Compare at least three suppliers on price, quality, track record and capacity.
3. Verify the factory
Business licence, certifications and, ideally, an on-site visit reveal the difference between a real factory and a middleman.
4. Get samples
Check samples for quality and spec conformity before mass production.
5. Contract and staged payment
Tie payment terms to production and inspection milestones to reduce your risk.
