Once goods are loaded and paid for, fixing quality problems becomes hard and expensive. Pre-shipment inspection (PSI) reduces that risk.
What does it check?
Quantity, spec conformity, visual quality, function tests, packaging and labelling.
When does it happen?
Usually once at least 80% of the order is produced and packed.
How is sampling done?
Following the AQL standard, a random sample of units is selected and checked.
The outcome
A report with photos and findings — the basis for releasing final payment or requesting rework.
